• Does Signite support Gmail on iPhone?

  Yes. Signite signatures can be displayed in the Gmail app for iPhone through Google Workspace signature synchronization.

• Does Signite support Gmail on Android?

  Yes. Signite supports Gmail for Android through Google Workspace signature deployment.

• Do users need to install an additional mobile-oriented Signite extension app?

  No. A dedicated Signite mobile extension app is no longer required.

• Are signatures synchronized automatically?

  Yes. Once deployed through Signite, signatures are synced automatically into the mobile Gmail app. To load the updated signature, you may need to close the Gmail app and re-open it.

• Do aliases work with Gmail mobile signatures?

  Alias-related behavior may vary depending on Gmail platform and version. We continue to monitor Google’s implementation and recommend testing alias scenarios within your environment.

   

• Does Signite require SMTP relay or route emails through external servers?

  No.

  Signite works directly with the official Google Workspace API and does not require SMTP relay configuration, external mail routing, or mail-flow interception.

  Unlike some email signature solutions, Signite does not sit between your organization’s emails and recipients.
  Emails continue to be sent normally through Google Workspace infrastructure without being routed through external delivery servers.

  This architecture helps organizations maintain a simpler deployment process, reduced risk to mail flow, minimal infrastructure changes, and a more secure, reliable setup.

  Signite uses only the permissions required to centrally manage and deploy employee email signatures within Google Workspace.

• Does Signite track email recipients or collect analytics?

  No.

  Signite does not track email recipients or collect behavioral analytics through email signatures.

  We do not collect:

  • Email open data
  • Click tracking data
  • Recipient behavior analytics
  • IP addresses
  • Geolocation information
  • Device tracking data
  • Recipient profiling information

  Unlike some platforms on the market, Signite is intentionally designed with a privacy-first approach focused on centralized email signature management only.

  Signatures may include a lightweight dynamic image component used solely for functional banner management.
  This allows organizations to centrally display, schedule, update, or automatically remove promotional banners without requiring a full re-deployment of employee signatures.

  This mechanism is not used for tracking, analytics, profiling, or recipient monitoring in any way.

• Why can't I see my signature?

  Most times, you’ll need to refresh your inbox for the signature to show up.

  In case that didn’t help, verify that your Gmail signature settings shows “My signature” in both the new and reply dropdowns in the signature menu.

• How do I set up and embed email signatures using Signite?
  1. Sign in via your Google account

• How does Signite create and update the email signatures in my account?

  Signite is a Google Marketplace app.

  As soon as you install the app, you provide it with permission to make changes to the email signature settings (and only that) for the Gmail users under your Google Workspace account.

  Signite does not use routing or require any configuration of your SMTP settings, and your inbox is fully separated from the Signite platform and/or its servers online status and availability.

  Signite edits your signatures externally and embeds the finished signatures using HTML that conforms to the standards of Gmail accounts.

• How does Signite create and update the email signatures in my account?

  Signite is a Google Marketplace app.

  As soon as you install the app, you provide it with permission to make changes to the email signature settings (and only that) for the Gmail users under your Google Workspace account.

  Signite does not use routing or require any configuration of your SMTP settings, and your inbox is fully separated from the Signite platform and/or its servers online status and availability.

• Can I try out Signite before paying?

  While using the Free plan, you can preview the Premium features within the platform, and when upgrading to the Premium plan, the system will automatically deploy them to your signatures, while removing the line crediting Signite.

  Note that you can pay for the Premium plan based on the amount of deployed users and unique aliases with a minimal plan of Up to 5 users, to test out the Premium features and service.

• Why are my custom signature colors not appearing?

  Custom color management is now included as part of the Premium plan. While custom colors may still be visible in the template editor and preview, they will not be applied when signatures are deployed on free accounts.

  This also applies to other Premium features, including banners, personal user images, custom links, and additional customization options.

  Premium features are marked throughout the editor with a small gold star icon, making them easy to identify.

  Signite continues to offer a free plan with no time limitation for basic email signature management, while advanced customization features are available as part of our Premium plans. Special upgrade discounts may also be available.

• Can I use custom fields from Google Workspace in email signatures?

  Yes. Signite supports both standard Google Workspace directory fields and custom attributes. This allows organizations to synchronize additional user information and automatically display it within email signatures.

• How much does Signite cost and what does it include?

  With the exception of the free package, all of Signite’s packages and options incorporate all the available features. The price is determined by the number of users attached to the account, and there are a number of different packages for your convenience.

• What is the difference between the free package and the other packages?

  The free package does not include any Premium features such as banner management and an additional area of text, is limited to up to 5 users, and is unlimited by duration. A Signite credit will also appear at the bottom of the signature.

  The Premium plan is divided by packages based on the amount of users and unique aliases you can deploy to, and includes all features available on the platform.

• Will my signature appear in the proper format on all email clients?

  The signatures will appear in full and properly formatted, subject to the limitations and conditions of the individual application or platform.

• Does Signite Support Gmail on iPhone (iOS)?

  Yes. Signite supports Gmail on iPhone through Google Workspace signature deployment. Email signatures can be displayed in the Gmail app for iOS without requiring a separate Signite mobile application.

• Does Signite Support Gmail on Android?

  Yes. Signite supports Gmail on Android devices through Google Workspace. Signatures are managed centrally and can be synchronized to supported Gmail mobile applications.

• Do Users Need to Install an addition mobile-specific Signite App?

  No. Signite does not require a dedicated mobile application. Email signatures are managed centrally through Google Workspace and can be displayed directly within supported Gmail mobile apps.

• Can I automatically assign email signatures across my organization?

  Yes. Signite allows administrators to automatically deploy signatures by assigning templates to Organizational Units (OUs) or Groups within Google Workspace. Once configured, signatures can be automatically applied to matching users without requiring manual assignment.

• What can I manage and edit in my email signatures?

  You will be able to: manage and edit the various signature templates; set up groups and teams and provide each one with a custom template; edit multiple contact details and information at once; edit information for an individual user; upload advertising banners (optional) and time their appearance; integrate an additional text box below the signatures.

• Is Signite GDPR Compliant?

  In Signite we care about the Privacy and Security of your Personal Data.

  As part of that, we have implemented and accomplished all the required security and privacy measures in order to be Compliant with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

• How do I add additional information to my invoice

  Before purchasing the Premium plan, or before your next payment, go to your account settings on the top right corner and update both the Address field and Additional Invoice Details one.

  The additional Invoice Details will be displayed on the bottom section of future invoices.

• Compatibility with Light / Dark Mode

  Gmail currently does not support setting different signature designs for dark and light modes.

  Signite allows you to edit the signature’s components colors, uploading transparent images, and controlling the information colors  overall.. Thus you can adjust and choose neutral colors that will look good enough in both dark and light mode.

• Why does my email signature look different in Gmail Dark Mode?

  Gmail Dark Mode may automatically adjust certain colors in emails and signatures to improve readability. Because these changes are performed by Gmail itself, Signite cannot control how a signature is rendered in Dark Mode and cannot deploy separate signature versions for Light Mode and Dark Mode.

  In most cases, the recommended approach is to use logo colors and signature elements that work well on both light and dark backgrounds. Neutral colors and simple designs generally provide the most consistent results across different viewing environments.

• How do I configure email signatures for aliases?

  Signite supports multiple approaches for alias signature management.

  By default, aliases can use the same signature as the user’s primary email address. Organizations that require different branding, contact information, or layouts for specific aliases can also configure dedicated templates and unique signatures for individual aliases.

• Do I need to restart Gmail after updating a signature?

  Yes. After deploying a new signature or updating an existing one, Gmail should be fully restarted before verifying the change.

  This applies to both desktop and mobile Gmail applications. Gmail may continue displaying cached signature data until the application is reopened, so restarting Gmail is a recommended step after every deployment or signature update.
